The brief:

The ANDY Awards is one of the most coveted advertising awards in the marketing industry. All of the money they make gets pumped directly back into the industry – helping to support and cultivate talent.

This means that utilising funds effectively is a top priority. So when the ANDYs turned to Beam for help in finding an efficient and cost-effective system to handle the thousands of print entries they receive each year, we were happy to help.

The solution:

Beam created a complete tailored solution – an online judging system that allows the judges to view the submissions through an exclusive online access portal. The ANDY Awards also wanted to showcase the entries in the highest specifications possible, so Beam worked to develop and customise the online tools to include a zoom feature allowing the judges to view ultra-fine detail on large image files as well as a full-screen feature.

Beam developed a new navigation system to handle the huge volume of submissions – a new browsing system that also enabled ANDY Awards organisers to receive the judges’ responses and collate results immediately.

The result:

Beam has enabled the ANDYs to transform their awards management process by delivering a package of tailored systems that have simplified their entire entry and judging process, enabling them to be more effective, streamlined and economic.
