The brief:

Nike needed to adapt and globally distribute their latest television commercial, Write the Future, an epic three-minute World Cup campaign featuring the likes of Wayne Rooney, Roger Federer and Christiano Ronaldo. With the commercial launching via Facebook and social media sites, followed by an international broadcast premiere, it was crucial to get the right version to the countries in question and on schedule.

The solution:

Beam delivered 14 global adaptations to international broadcasters worldwide, alongside delivering tailor-made content for localised markets to another six countries and then to a further 31 territories. Beam adapted and distributed both HD and SD digital assets via www.beam.tv ensuring they reached each market in time for the advert’s premiere on Facebook prior to its television launch.

The result:

Beam enabled Nike to launch its record-breaking commercial on time, adapted and localised in HD and SD for a staggering 89 films for television broadcast in 14 countries and for online media, a further 30 HD films for Facebook, 27 films for digital and intranet, 14 films for gaming and two for YouTube.
