As HD continues to gather pace within the industry we thought it would be a good time to update you on our HD capabilities.

For some time now at The Mill we’ve been finishing over 95% of all our campaigns in HD and we currently down convert to SD delivery for UK broadcasters.

Our Beam International division is delivering HD commercials globally via our partner network to countries including China, Romania, Spain and the USA, among many others for the majority of our clients.

We are in the process of testing a new workflow whereby UK commercials will be subtitled via Adtext and delivered to UK broadcasters entirely in HD meaning that for the first time the UK HD Channels will show HD commercials and not those up-converted from SD. We anticipate this service will be ready within the next few months - updates to follow as HD becomes a reality!

We use AmberFin iCR Standards Converter technology as part of our delivery workflow for SD and HD content, which is regarded as one of the premium QC and transcoding tools.
