With the launch of their new website, The British Arrows Craft Awards (formerly the British Television Advertising Awards) has opened its call for 2011 entries and will be accepting online submissions via the Beam awards system.

The not-for-profit awards, which began in 1976, recognise the best-in-show of moving image advertisements – broadcast and online – along with TV promos which don’t include programming. Uniquely, they honour the individuals who created the work rather than the production companies involved.

Nominees are UK production professionals whose work is shown in the UK or abroad, or non-UK residents whose craft has contributed to a commercial shown on British television or online.

Categories include Best Animation, Best Casting, Best Performance by an Actor/Actress, Best CGI, Best Director, Best New Director and Best Production Design.

Colin Avery, Beam’s Head of Awards, commented “This is the ninth year that Beam has hosted the entry and judging system for the British Arrows Craft Awards. Every year the standard gets higher so we are very excited to see how the many inspirational pieces of work from the UK advertising industry will be rewarded this year”.

The online entry pack can be downloaded here and contains everything you’ll need to enter commercials for judging. The deadline for submission is Thursday 8th September and should you require any assistance with your online submission please contact our Beam Awards team.

This year’s award ceremony will be held on Monday 21st November at Planit, Embankment Gardens, London. For more information visit www.britisharrows.com.

Wishing you all the very best of luck!
